We [Patty and Deb] had such an awesome time last night at our February mini meet up "Love Spelled Backwards is Love". We want to thank everyone who showed up and made it such an amazing night. Shout out to Jen who flew down from NorCal and to Emily who was Skyped in from New York! SoCal misses you.
The night was filled with good food, and awesome fic talk. I know that Patty and I have a few more fics to read. Thanks friends! I love getting recommendations for new fics to read.
We premiered our Twilight Trivia game that we've been working on for 6 months and everyone brought in the A game! Who knew you were all so competitive? I love it!
We had three teams: Vampire Team, Werewolf Team and the Human Team. They had to alternate answering Jeopardy-like questions and ring in their answers (who knew children's toys made such great buzzers?). The score was really close, before Final Jeopardy the Humans lead by 5,000 points with the Vampires and Werewolves almost tied. The Final Jeopardy category was "Midnight Sun". Long story short, the Humans won the night but everyone was a winner because we had prizes for everybody. (Thanks Barbara for donating those calendars and tumblers!)
