Patty is 22 years old, my Twifey, my best friend and the other organizer of the SoCal TFMU. She is studying to be a costume designer so she's excitedly crafty.
I met her almost three years ago at a dinner for Twilight lovers in the area. She almost didn't go because she was (and is with strangers) painfully shy (she's so cute like that). I owe that dinner meeting to her sister who convinced her to go but on the condition that her whole family go as well for support. So, not only did I meet Patty for the first time, I met her sister, brother and sister-in-law.
It's hard to imagine not having Patty in my life. She's the jelly to my peanut butter, she's my comic relief to my angsty lovers heart. She's my go-to at midnight when I'm bawling my eyes out and I need a virtual hug. My go-to when I need a rec when I'm stuck in a rut.
Her enthusiasm and fervor for Twi fic matches my own and we are both incredibly excited to organize the Southern California TFMU in 2013. So stay tuned for more information!
