Monthly Mini Meet Ups

The very first meet up in May 2012, was held at the back of an Olive Garden with 17 ladies meeting each other for the first time while eating and drinking. We talked about fic: what we're reading, what we're writing, etc. We talked about the Saga and actors from the movies and we talked about life too. We became instant friends that night. It was a bit magical and more than what we ever expected.

It was so successful we thought that we couldn't let this magic die or lay stagnant for a whole year before we met up again. We have the unique characteristic that the members of this group live in and around Southern California and most of us are within an hours drive of each other.

So, every month since we first met, we've been having mini meet ups at people's houses, restaurants, movie theaters, etc.

If you're new to the group, I'll hope you'll come to the next one we have planned. And if you have been to one, we hope we haven't scared you off and hope you'll join us again!

*Note: there are no end times because we can go for hours. There are some who are there for an hour or so then need to go back to real life then there are others who can stretch a night to 9 hours!

Details: A backyard screening of "Return to Me" with you're favorite movie theater snacks and plenty of time to talk fic before the movie.
